Fruit Cobbler - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. shortening
1 c. milk
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. fruit
1 c. boiling water
3 Tbsp. margarine
Preparation

Combine 1 cup sugar, flour, shortening, milk, baking powder and salt.
Pour into a 9 x 13-inch greased pan.
Mix remaining sugar, margarine and boiling water.
Pour over batter.
Bake 30 to 40 minutes at 400\u00b0.
