Scone Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. all-purpose flour
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. milk
2 eggs, beaten
3/4 c. raisins
jam (your choice)
Preparation

Heat oven to 425\u00b0.
Grease an 8-inch round pan.
Combine first four ingredients and then \"cut\" in butter with fork until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Add milk, eggs and the raisins.
Stir until dry ingredients are moistened.
Pat half of dough (with floured hands) into greased pan and add jam (of choice).
Top with remaining dough evenly.
Score dough into 8 wedges and top with melted butter and sugar.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
