Ingredients

1 c. corn oil
1 c. sugar
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. butter
2 eggs
4 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Beat the first 4 ingredients well.
Add the remaining ingredients.
Roll dough into 1-inch balls.
Dip bottom of glass in sugar and press down the 1-inch balls to flatten.
Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Bake for about 8 minutes on ungreased pan.
