Bacon Pepper Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

7 1/4 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
3 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. coarsely ground black pepper
1 egg (at room temperature)
2 pkg. active dry yeast
1 1/2 c. milk
3/4 c. water
1/2 lb. bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
1/3 c. reserved bacon grease
Preparation

Mix 2 1/2 cups flour, sugar, salt, pepper and undissolved yeast.
Mix milk, water and bacon grease to 120\u00b0 to 130\u00b0. Gradually add to dry ingredients and beat 2 minutes at medium speed of mixer.
Add egg and 1 cup of flour.
Beat at high speed for 2 minutes.
Stir in bacon and enough flour to make soft dough.
