Gingersnaps - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour, sifted
1 Tbsp. ginger
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/4 c. molasses
Preparation

Mix and sift first 5 ingredients.
Cream shortening and sugar. Beat in egg and molasses.
Add flour mixture.
Form teaspoons of dough into small balls and roll in sugar.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 12 minutes at 375\u00b0 until tops are rounded and cracked.
