Refrigerator Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. evaporated milk
    2 1/4 c. sugar
    2 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate bits
    1/3 c. white syrup
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Combine milk and sugar in heavy saucepan.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils. Turn heat low. Cook 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Immediately add chocolate bits, Karo, butter and vanilla.
    Stir until chocolate melts and fudge is smooth and creamy. Stir in nuts and mix well.
    Pour in buttered pan and chill.
    Cut into squares.
