Gourmet Pecans - cooking recipe

1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 large egg white
3 Tbsp. Grand Marnier, Kahlua
4 c. small pecan halves
Preparation

Preheat oven to 300\u00b0. Line a jelly roll pan with foil. Combine sugar and salt in small bowl. Set aside. Whisk egg white and liqueur in large bowl. Add pecans and stir to coat. Sprinkle with sugar and salt and stir well to blend. Spread on pan in single layer. Bake 20 to 25 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes. Stir from outside of pan toward center as the nuts around the edge brown faster. Remove from oven and immediately loosen nuts from foil. Cool on wax paper.
