Divinity - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    1 c. light corn syrup
    3/4 c. water
    3 egg whites (stiffly beaten)
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. broken nuts
Preparation
    Place in saucepan, over low heat, sugar, corn syrup and water. Stir until sugar is dissolved, then cook, without stirring, to 255\u00b0 (a little drop into cold water forms a hard ball).
    Remove from heat and pour, beating constantly, in a fine stream into the stiffly beaten egg whites.
    Continue beating until mixture holds its shape and loses its gloss.
    Add vanilla and nuts.
