Asparagus Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 2) can asparagus
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 pimento, cut up
    1 c. grated American cheese
    3 eggs, beaten
    1 1/4 c. rolled cracker crumbs
    1 c. milk
    1/4 c. butter
Preparation
    Cut asparagus into 2-inch pieces; mix all ingredients except butter.
    Pour into an oiled baking dish.
    Melt butter and pour over the top.
    Bake, uncovered, in a moderate oven (350\u00b0) for at least 30 minutes.
