Old Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. sugar
    2/3 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 large can sliced peaches
Preparation
    Melt butter in baking dish or pan about 3 inches deep.
    Mix flour, sugar, milk and vanilla; mix well.
    Pour batter over melted butter.
    Do not stir.
    Top with peaches and juice.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Serve with vanilla ice cream.
