Cheesy Vegetable Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. ground beef
1 c. onion, chopped
4 c. potatoes, cubed
3 c. frozen peas and carrots
1 1/2 tsp. beef soup base
3 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
5 c. dry milk
6 Tbsp. flour
3 c. cheese
Preparation

In a large pot brown the beef and onion.
Drain off fat.
Add potatoes, peas and carrots, soup base, water, salt and pepper to meat mixture.
Cover and simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
Blend 1 cup of the milk with the flour. Add to soup, along with remaining milk.
Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
Add cheese; heat and stir just until cheese melts.
