Crispy Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/2 tsp. lemon or orange extract
    2/3 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. quick oats
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add flavoring.
    With spoon add flour and oats until well mixed.
    Form into 1-inch balls.
    Press with fork on lightly greased pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 approximately 10 to 15 minutes.
    When cool, put in cookie tin and refrigerate. Will keep a month and get better every day.
