Light Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
3 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. baking powder
2 tsp. salt
1 1/3 c. shortening
2 c. milk
6 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
4 sq. (4 oz.) unsweetened chocolate, melted
1 c. finely chopped walnuts
Preparation

In large bowl of electric mixer, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, shortening and 1 1/2 cups milk.
Beat at medium speed on electric mixer for 2 minutes, or beat by hand for 300 vigorous strokes.
Add remaining 1/2 cup milk, the eggs, vanilla and melted chocolate.
Beat 2 minutes or 300 strokes.
Stir in nuts.
Pour batter into a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
Bake in a slow (325\u00b0) oven one hour and 50 minutes or until cake tests done.
Cool in pan 20 minutes, remove from pan and cool thoroughly on cake rack.
Sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
