Ingredients

1 1/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. soft butter or margarine
1/2 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Into large bowl, sift flour with baking soda and salt.
Add sugar, egg, vanilla and butter at medium speed.
Beat until smooth and well combined, about 1 minute.
Stir in walnuts and chocolate pieces.
Drop by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove to wire rack; cool.
Makes about 4 dozen.
