Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 tsp. cocoa
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    2 oz. red food coloring
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vinegar
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Beat shortening, cocoa, sugar, salt, vanilla and eggs.
    Add food coloring slowly.
    Add flour and buttermilk alternately. Combine vinegar and soda; when settled, stir into batter.
