Ingredients

1 c. Crisco
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. peanut butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
2 eggs, well beaten
1 Tbsp. milk
2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation

Combine Crisco, salt and peanut butter; mix well.
Gradually add sugar and brown sugar.
Cream thoroughly after each addition. Add eggs and milk, mixing well.
Sift together the flour and soda, blend with first mixture.
Drop the dough by teaspoonfuls into a greased baking sheet.
Press lightly with a fork to flatten. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
Makes 10 to 12 dozen cookies.
