Ingredients

2 1/4 c. self-rising flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. (2 sticks) butter, softened
3/4 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. packed light brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 c. (11.5 oz. pkg.) chocolate chips
Preparation

Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
Stir together butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla until creamy.
Add eggs; mix well. Gradually add flour and salt, mixing well.
Stir in chocolate chips and mix.
Drop rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until lightly browned.
