Swiss Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 envelope onion soup mix
    3 or 4 potatoes, peeled and cut into small cubes
    2 cans cream of potato soup
    3 soup cans of milk
    1 onion, chopped
    Swiss cheese (use a good size chunk), grated
    1/2 to 1 pt. sour cream (optional)
Preparation
    Cook soup according to directions on the box.
    Add cubed potatoes and cook until potatoes are done.
    Add cream of potato soup and 3 soup cans of milk to onion soup and heat.
    Add chopped onion and grated Swiss cheese to hot soup.
    Heat until cheese is melted.
    Sour cream may be added at this time.
    Stir thoroughly. Heat a few minutes longer and serve.
