Grandma'S Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
8 oz. butter
4 eggs
5 c. flour
1 c. sour cream
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add vanilla and eggs; beat until fluffy.
Add flour, soda and cream of tartar.
Add dry ingredients alternately with sour cream.
Drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet and sprinkle with sugar.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
