Winter Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    20 oz. can pineapple chunks, drained (reserve juice)
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. grated orange peel
    1/3 c. orange juice
    11 oz. can mandarin oranges, drained
    2 apples
    2 bananas
Preparation
    Mix all fruit together.
    Stir sugar and cornstarch together in saucepan.
    Blend in 3/4 cup pineapple juice, lemon juice, orange peel and orange juice.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and boils.
    Boil and stir 1 minute.
    While hot pour over fruit mixture.
    Refrigerate uncovered several hours. Serves 12.
