New England Skillet Dinner - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Mountain King Russet potatoes
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 c. sliced and peeled carrots
    4 c. shredded cabbage
    1/2 lb. corned beef
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. leaf thyme, crushed
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Cook potatoes; peel and cut into 1/2-inch cubes and set aside. In a large skillet, saute onion in butter until tender.
    Add carrots; cover and cook 10 minutes over low heat.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Cover and cook until cabbage is tender.
