Herb Cheese Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 long loaf French bread
1/4 lb. butter or margarine
2 Tbsp. grated onion
1 tsp. prepared mustard
2 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. Beau Monde seasoning
6 slices Swiss cheese
Preparation

Cut bread in 1-inch slices, almost to, but not through, bottom crust.
Place on a piece of foil large enough to wrap bread.
Cut Swiss cheese slices in half; place cheese slices between bread slices. Mix rest of ingredients together and melt for easy pouring.
Pour butter mixture over the bread and cheese slices. Wrap bread in foil and place on a cookie sheet.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
Serves 12.
