Sherried Orange Dessert - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 navel oranges
1 1/2 c. (6 oz.) sweetened coconut, grated
3/4 c. (6 fluid oz.) sherry
Preparation

Peel and slice oranges into cart-wheel slices 1/4-inch thick. Into a glass bowl, arrange slices and coconut in alternating layers, ending with a layer of coconut.
Pour sherry over all and chill for at least an hour.
