British Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 sticks butter
    1 egg
    Quick Quaker oats
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar. Add egg, flour and vanilla. Drop by teaspoon and roll in oats. Bake at 300\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
