Pumpkin Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) unbaked pastry shell
    1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin (about 2 c.)
    1 (13 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. ground ginger
    1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except pastry shell; mix well.
    Pour into pastry shell.
    Bake 15 minutes.
    Reduce oven temperature to 350\u00b0.
    Cut a hole in a piece of foil (about 8 inches in diameter) to cover the pastry so it won't burn.
    Bake 35 to 40 minutes longer or until knife inserted 1 inch from edge comes out clean.
    Cool.
    Garnish as desired.
