Cantonese Chicken Stir-Fry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 whole chicken breast, boneless, cut into strips
    1 1/2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    2 tsp. cornstarch
    1 tsp. chicken broth
    dash of pepper
    1 medium onion, cut into thin slices
    2 c. broccoli
    2 c. snow peas
    1 large carrot, sliced thin
    1 can water chestnuts, sliced
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1/4 c. chicken broth
    1 Tbsp. minced fresh ginger or 1 tsp. ground
Preparation
    Combine chicken with soy sauce, cornstarch, 1 teaspoon chicken broth and pepper.
    Marinate 1/2 hour.
    Heat oil in wok or large skillet; stir-fry chicken and onions for five minutes.
    Add broccoli, snow peas, carrots, water chestnuts and ginger; stir-fry for 10 minutes.
    Add broth.
    Cover; heat for 2 minutes.
    Serve over rice.
