Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 lb. sweet Italian sausage
    1/2 to 3/4 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. basil
    3/4 to 1 lb. curly lasagna
    5 oz. Ricotta cheese
    3/4 lb. Mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 c. chopped parsley
    1 tsp. crushed fennel seed
    1 (2 lb. 3 oz.) can Italian style tomatoes (undrained)
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    1/2 to 3/4 c. red or white wine
    1 egg
    3/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese (fresh)
Preparation
    Take sausage out of casing and leave in chunks.
    Mix Ricotta cheese, egg and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
    Assemble:
    Put sauce on bottom of 9 x 12-inch pan.
    Layer noodles, Mozzarella cheese, sauce and Ricotta cheese 2 times.
    Top noodles with Mozzarella; sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
    Bake for 30 to 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
