Smothered Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 to 6 medium potatoes, cut into irregular shapes (red skins recommended)
2 medium onions, sliced
2 to 3 cloves garlic, chopped
1/2 tsp. marjoram, oregano or thyme
1/2 c. water
3 to 4 tsp. olive oil
Preparation

Place onions and potatoes in saucepan.
Add garlic and herbs. Add water and pour oil over potatoes.
Season with salt and pepper and cover.
Cook over high heat until the mixture begins to bubble, then lower heat as much as possible and let simmer. Should be ready in 20 minutes.
