Modeling "Goop" - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2/3 c. water
2 c. table salt
1/2 c. water
1 c. cornstarch
beads, colored macaroni and other small objects

Preparation

Add 2/3 cup water to the salt in a pan; cook over medium heat, stirring, for about 4 to 5 minutes, until salt is dissolved. Remove mixture from heat.
Gradually mix 1/2 cup water with cornstarch in a separate container; stir until smooth.
Add the cornstarch mixture to the salt mixture.
Return to low heat; stir and cook until smooth.
The \"goop\" will thicken quickly.
Remove from the heat; use for modeling objects.
