Best Red Cabbage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. bacon drippings
4 c. shredded red cabbage
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 c. sour cream
1 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. caraway seed
Preparation

Heat drippings in a skillet; add remaining ingredients and 1/4 cup water.
Cook, covered, over low heat; stir occasionally.
For crisp cabbage, cook for 15 minutes; for tender, cook 25 to 30 minutes.
Serves 4 or 5.
