Caramel Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/3 c. brown sugar
    3 c. sifted powdered sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 Tbsp. margarine
Preparation
    Combine brown sugar, salt and milk in saucepan; bring to boil.
    Cook slowly, about 15 minutes, or until slightly thickened. Remove from heat; add butter, vanilla and powdered sugar.
    Beat mixture until smooth.
    Press into greased pan.
    Let cool before cutting into squares.
    Yields 1 pound.
