Cranberry Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

1/2 c. butter, softened
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
1 tsp. almond extract
1 (16 oz.) can whole cranberry sauce
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, beating well after each. Combine dry ingredients; add alternately with sour cream, beating well after each. Add almond extract. Mix well. Spoon 1/3 mixture into a greased and floured tube pan. Spread 1/3 cranberry sauce over batter. Repeat layers twice more ending with cranberry sauce. Sprinkle with pecans. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until cake tests done. Let cool five minutes before removing from pan. Drizzle glaze over top.
