Chocolate Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. softened butter
    1/2 c. solid vegetable shortening
    1 1/3 c. granulated sugar
    1 c. packed brown sugar
    4 eggs
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. rolled oats
    2 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
    2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    In a large bowl of an electric mixer, beat butter, shortening and sugar on high speed until light and fluffy (about 5 minutes). Add eggs, one at a time, beating well.
    Beat in vanilla and lemon juice.
    Gradually add dry ingredients to butter mixture.
    Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts.
    Use a scant 1/4 cup of dough for each cookie.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 16 to 18 minutes.
