Substitute Scrapple - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. canned hamburger or sausage
    1 to 1 1/2 qt. water
    salt and pepper
    dash of sage
    corn meal
    flour to thicken
Preparation
    Cook hamburger,
    seasonings
    and water until it boils.
    Add corn meal as much as
    is necessary and flour to help set up.
    Pour into pans and cool.
    Slice and
    fry.
    This
    is a good substitute! We like it hot from the kettle and never have leftover to fry.
