World'S Best Christmas Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/3 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    8 tsp. milk
    4 c. unbleached flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream
    shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
    Beat until fluffy.
    Stir
    in
    milk.
    Combine dry ingredients.
    Blend into the other
    mixture.
    Divide
    the
    dough
    in quarters.
    Wrap in waxed paper
    and
    chill 1 hour.
    Donate one of the quarters of the dough to children, for nibbling and sculpting.
    (The dough may be colored with food coloring if you wish.) Roll the rest between floured
    sheets of waxed paper to a thickness of about 1/8-inch. Cut
    into
    shapes
    with cutters.
    Bake in 375\u00b0 oven for 6
    to
    8 minutes.
    Cool
    slightly.
    Remove
    to
    rack.
