Skillet Yams And Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    2 small apples, pared, cored and cubed
    2 Tbsp. minced onions
    2 Tbsp. packed brown sugar
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. cinnamon
    dash of nutmeg
    6 oz. peeled and cooked yams, cooled and cubed
Preparation
    In 10-inch skillet, heat margarine over medium heat, add apples and onions and saute, stirring occasionally, until apples are soft, 4 to 5 minutes.
    Sprinkle with sugar, lemon juice and seasonings.
    Cook, stirring constantly until sugar is melted.
    Add yam cubes and cook until yams are heated through.
