Diabetic Date-Nut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 Tbsp. Sucaryl (liquid) sweetener
1 egg
1 c. dates, chopped fine
1 small can diabetic applesauce
1/2 c. pecans
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
Preparation

Cream butter and add eggs, Sucaryl and vanilla which have been beaten together.
Sift dry ingredients and add to other mixture. Beat with mixer on medium speed for several minutes until well blended.
Pour into buttered loaf pan.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
