Ingredients

1 cup margarine or butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup light brown sugar
1 egg
1 cup vegetable oil
1 cup regular oats
1 cup crushed corn flakes
3 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp salt (leave out if use margarine)
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 cup flaked coconut
1 cup pecans
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Cream together butter and sugar, add egg and mix well.
Add remaining ingredients one at a time except pecans.
Mix until combined.
Stir in pecans.
Form dough into balls the size of walnuts.
Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and flatten with a fork.
Bake for 10 - 12 minutes or until lightly brown.
Do not over cook.
Makes about 6 doz. cookies.
