Christmas Jello Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 large pkg. lime Jell-O
1 pt. sour cream
1 (6 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
1/2 c. crushed walnuts
1/2 c. maraschino cherries
Preparation

Dissolve Jell-O with 2 cups boiling water (no cold water). Refrigerate until slightly thickened.
Fold in sour cream, crushed pineapple, nuts and cherries.
Refrigerate until set.
Garnish with additional cherries, if desired.
(This is nice served in a glass bowl so all colors can be seen.) The texture can be varied by not thoroughly mixing the green Jell-O with the sour cream, if desired.
