Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. unpopped corn
    1 c. margarine
    2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/3 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Pop the corn.
    Melt margarine, brown sugar, corn syrup and salt.
    Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, then let boil 5 minutes without stirring.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in baking soda and vanilla.
    Gradually pour over popcorn, mixing well.
    Turn into large roaster and bake in preheated 250\u00b0 oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
    Remove from oven and turn onto some heatproof surface to cool.
