Jiffy Beer Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    1 (12 oz.) can or bottle beer
    1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans
    1 to 1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. garlic salt
    1/2 tsp. oregano
Preparation
    Lightly brown ground beef and onion in a heavy medium saucepan; cook until onion is soft.
    Add tomato paste and beer; stir up brown bits.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Cook slowly, uncovered, 10 to 15 minutes or until onion is tender.
    Add a little water, if needed.
