Grandma Debrun'S French Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs, separated
    5 to 5 1/2 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Beat egg yolks; add to creamed mixture.
    Beat egg whites until stiff; add to creamed mixture. Add vanilla; mix well.
    Stir in flour.
    Chill overnight.
    Drop by spoonfuls onto well-greased waffle iron.
    Cook 1 1/2 minutes on high until golden.
