Quail And Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 doz. birds
    1 c. minced onions
    1 pkg. Lipton onion soup
    3/4 c. flour
    1 qt. hot water
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Marinate birds overnight in Zesty Italian dressing.
    Bread and fry in Puritan oil until golden brown.
    Saturate onions in oil; add Lipton onion soup.
    Put in 3/4 cup flour; stir 1 quart hot water in.
    Stir constantly to make gravy smooth.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Good with grits, rice or mashed potatoes.
