Ingredients

3 c. diced or sliced, cooked beets
1 c. liquid (beet juice and water)
3 Tbsp. flour or 1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 Tbsp. or more sugar
1 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
1/4 c. vinegar
Preparation

Heat together beets and liquid.
Mix remaining ingredients. Stir into beets.
Cook, stirring constantly until smoothly blended and thickened.
