Ginger Pear Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (3 oz.) green gelatin
    3 c. boiling water
    1 c. pear juice
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. vinegar
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    12 oz. cream cheese
    1 can pears
Preparation
    Mix together first 5 ingredients.
    Pour 1/2 of mixture into mold (or 9 x 13-inch glass pan) and chill.
    Whip cream cheese and ginger in mixer.
    Add gelatin and beat until smooth.
    Cut up pears and add to mixture.
    Pour on top of congealed jello and refrigerate until set.
