Chicken Tortilla Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cooked, boned, chunked chicken
    1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chiles
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 doz. corn tortillas
    1 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 c. chicken broth
    2 cans cream of chicken soup
    1/2 green pepper, chopped
    1 (4 oz.) can mushroom pieces
Preparation
    Combine chicken, chiles, onion, soup, broth, mushrooms and green pepper.
    Butter tortillas and cut each in half.
    Spread 12 of the halves in bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Spread half the chicken mixture on top.
    Sprinkle on half of the cheese.
    Repeat layers.
    Bake one hour at 325\u00b0.
