Pumpkin Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. sugar
2/3 c. shortening
4 eggs
1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin
1/2 c. water
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Stir together flour, baking soda, cinnamon and baking powder; set aside.
In a large bowl, beat sugar and shortening until fluffy. Add eggs, pumpkin and water; mix well.
Stir in flour mixture and nuts.
Turn into 2 greased loaf pans.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 55 - 60 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool 10 minutes.
Remove from pans. Cool completely.
