Heath Bar Cake - cooking recipe

1 1/2 c. (2 1/2 sticks) butter, divided
2 c. chopped pecans
3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 c. granulated sugar
4 eggs
1 c. milk
2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
While oven is heating, melt 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter in a pie plate in oven.
When butter melts, stir in pecans.
Bake, stirring frequently, until pecans are toasted, about 20 to 25 minutes.
