Baked Yellow Rice(Nasi Kuning, Singapore) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. long-grain rice, washed and drained
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. curry powder
    1/2 tsp. ground turmeric
    2 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0 (190\u00b0C).
    Place rice in an ungreased 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
    Add butter, salt, curry powder and turmeric.
    Add boiling water; stir until butter melts.
    Cover tightly; bake 25 minutes or until water is absorbed.
    Let stand, covered, 5 minutes before serving.
    Fluff with a fork before serving.
    Makes 4 servings.
