Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sliced fresh peaches
2 c. sugar, divided 1 c. each
1 stick margarine or butter
3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. milk
Preparation

Mix peaches with 1 cup sugar and let stand.
Put butter in a 2-quart casserole and place in oven to melt.
Combine remaining sugar, flour, baking powder, salt and milk.
Pour over melted butter.
Do not stir.
Spoon peaches on top of batter.
Bake for 1 hour at 325\u00b0.
